  Another actor died this morning. At 7:30 am, William Desmond Taylor’s body had been found in his apartment in Westlake, Los Angeles. A man who had claimed to be a doctor said he dies of a stomach hemorrhage but that wasn’t true. Doubts arose and found out he died of a gunshot wound. William would be buried on February 7.

  Taylor’s death is being investigated but investigators don’t think it had been a robbery. There was money missing from his account that could count as a motive. Taylor’s death had become a scandal as two actresses here in Hollywood had been linked to him. One star had fallen in love with William but her mother didn’t approve of the relationship. Mary Miles Minter’s mother had killed William after finding her daughter with him. This story became a nationwide scandal in Hollywood.
