      It finally passed! Prohibition is finally in place where you could hear cheers of joy in place from wives. 

      A year since the law passed and effects of the prohibition have hit. Men are in the street wanting their beer.  Crime is on the rise such as organized crime, homicide, assaults, and burglaries.  Alcohol is making its way around underground as people start to get smart and get into organized crime. The law wasn’t what people were worried about, they cared about how they would be able to get cash flowing into their pockets. Women were making their way into the bootlegging business as everyone was accepting them. The effects of the prohibition were taking place. 

      Organized crime has started with bootlegging and cash which was flowing into people’s pockets as they become criminals.America is certainly changing through the prohibition.
